Walking in with a pre approval is seen as cash in hand which will make it ten times easier to negotiate. That is, if you know how and what to negotiate and have done your homework. If you’re going to go through the trouble of getting car loans first then you better be prepared. Otherwise it becomes pointless since the number one reason to get the car loan first is so that you can get a great deal on the car.
